About : The District Co-operative Central Bank Ltd., Eluru

The District Co-operative Central Bank Ltd., Eluru was established in the year 1918 and completing 100 years of dedicated service to farmers and has unique track record of earning profits since inception and ‘A’ class audit classification since 1975. The Bank is having 34 Branches spread all over the West Godavari District. 262 PACS (including 4 PACS who have newly registered during the course of Reorganization of State) and other 410 Cooperative Societies have affiliated to the Bank.

The District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Eluru was registered on 18-11-1918 and commenced its business from 30-11-1918. The Bank was reorganised in the year 1987 on introduction of single window delivery system. 8 PADBs were merged with DCCB Eluru.

The area of operation of the Bank confined to the entire West Godavari District with a net work of 34 branches. 258 PACS and 410 other cooperative societies are affiliated to the Bank with an average of 3 villages per PACS whereas the state average is 12. The Bank is having unique track record of earning profits since inception and classified under “A” class audit since 1975. The Bank was bestowed with Best performance award by NABARD for three Consecutive years during 1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2003-04. The Only DCCB in the state that has been permitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to accept deposits from State Government Departments and Quasi government undertaking Departments.
